Let me know how you get on - My local toyota dealer said the key couldn't be cut because there is no chassis number on imports !!!
Also the two pin key is not a master so get the central locking onto the cat 1 alarm system.

i was under the impression there were chassis numbers on imports as you can insure your import on the chassis number until you have a registered plate number off the dvla. i would double check that if i was you

the Netz dealer told me that there is a number on the door that corresponds with your key.
I only have the one key myself, and plan on getting one or two more.
they have to pull the panel off of the driver side door, and get a number, or code or something.
i will do my best to be on the spot when they do it, the mechanic knows me fairly well now,
and they do not seem to have a problem with me nosing around in the garage when i am there to pick up parts.
so, when i get my back-up key, i will chime in again.

As they're not transponder keys any half decent locksmith should be able to cut you one. They can trace the original key. They don't need numbers if they have a sample.

1)two button key is the master
2)no hidden numbers anywhere that will give you a key number
3)you can walk in to any toyota dealer give them the chassis number and they can get a key cut from that(takes ten days)
4)2 button fob easy to come by walk in to toyota.
5)EVERY CAR ON THE ROAD has a chassis number or some form of frame number (vosa wont let you mot a car with no chassis number)

When i got my replacement keys the NETZ mechanic pulled the barrel out of the driver side door.
He either used a number from the barrel to program the key, or programed the barrel with a number from the key.
