I just took my 2000 Lexus in to get the AC looked at and they tell me that the HVAC unit is cracked and needs to be replaced. This type of thing should never happen to a unit like that, it should last at least 10 to 15 years. At this point Lexus tells me that there is nothing they can do for me, but for me to replace it at the cost of $1500 just for the unit and add on the cost of Labor of around $500. I'm very disappointed with everything that has happened and I want to share this to others.

nah...dont take this lying down, get them to show, that this can be shown to be normal wear and tear...............

I'm currently working on a letter to the headquarters in California. I hope they see that the part was put in work and was not from normal wear and tear. I'll let ya know the outcome.
