Full Version: More Leg Room

Just picked up a courtesy car from Reading and noticed that it has much more leg room than mine!

The driveres seat goes back further which is nice for the driver but not the passenger behind eh!!!

Has anyone else noticed that? Also, suspension seems much firmer too.

Plus, does anyone know the following? When car running or not, (esp. on first start up) if you press the brake pedal a few times, you get a sucking noise, bit like an air pump?

Is this normal or could there be something wrong?
Teddy
I heard Lexus did some minor adjustment to the late 2002 and 03 versions but don't know exactly what they did.

As for the brakes, I think it's normal. I have also experienced this twice. Not on an IS though but on other rented cars.

First thing the other half said when she got in the new ('03) car after being in the "old" ('02) IS was.... "The wing mirrors are smaller!" - not the actual wing mirror assembly itself, just the reflective part.....!?
Bobski
How did she notice that

Dont tell me..............she had to get you to move the mirror so she could finish her makeup :yahoo:
UKPulse
Yep - she was checking herself in the mirror!

Shame she didn't notice the full leather, e-Shift controls, tinted windows, etc.... women eh! <_< :P

Trouble is, even I'm now convinced the wing mirrors are smaller on the '03 model...
