As you may know, I now have a Sport Mesh Grill :D Yippee :yahoo:

However, as my car isn't a sport, I don't want a sport sticker on there...

Looking at a previous thread, I have found a company that does these:

I would like to know if I can get a GOLD discount, and if anyone knows of anything similar (I have seen a signature badge somewhere too)..

Thanks

Ian.

May I ask how much the Sports Grill is?

Would you say its worth it? big improvment to the car??

It depends where you get it from ;) , a dealer will charge 200 quid.

As for whether its worth it... well, it won't make your car go any quicker, so it's all down to personal taste, whether you like the look of it or not?

I had one fitted to mine - I prefer the look over the standard grille which makes the '300 look a little pedestrian. Still got the "Sport" badge on it, even though the car isn't really the Sport model in the true sense

Well, here's what the grill can look like....

Then it's all up to you..

Actually, for the badge why not make one yourself?

Remove the "Sports" badge, take an impression of it in plaster of paris, get one of those kids jewlery making kits - you know, the ones with that clear plastic stuff in. Find a suitable backing (maybe even cut up one of the chrome caliper stickers), pour the plastic, apply the backing, fit a couple of hooks, Bob's yer uncle!

.... am I rambling? .... I'm rambling .... I'll shut up now :iraqi-info-minister:

Check out my before and after shots on this thread.

IMO, the sports grille is a great improvement, subtle but effective. It's a few months since I changed mine to the Sports grille, but it still makes me smile. I now think the standard one looks... :shutit:

I agree that it's a shame the sport badge doesn't come off (it's sort of moulded onto the grille).
