Hi all,
I have been doing a lot of research on gap insurance recently as im taking delivery of my GS300 in the next couple weeks.
The dealer has suggested i purchase Gap Insurance, it seems like a good product to purchase but it just seems a lot of money.
The dealership has quoted me just over £400! Having looked online i've found the same product (back to invoice) for a fraction of the price. This was with click4gap.co.uk, the website was simple to use and the quotes were very reasonable. The main thing I liked was that they are not a broker.
Has anyone had experience of this particular company? or has anyone bought gap insurance from an online company? if so where do you recommend?
Really not satisfied with parting with an extra £400!!
Many Thanks
Tigger83.

I used www.ashmoreinsurance.com who got me 36 months Return to Invoice cover on my GS 430 last year for £112.00. This covers up to £10,000 shortfall between what my insurers pay on a total loss and the original purchase/invoice price of my car. I think that to pay £112 for 3 years cover of £10,000 is excellent VFM.

I bought my rx400h a few weeks ago. I told the lexus dealer i had found GAP insurance cheaper on line and they then (after the inevitable phone call to their colleague!) reduced the £399 they were quoting to the £200 quote I had got on line. I decided to go with the lexus product. good luck
