Well, got my Re-furbished alloys today... and since the tires were down to 2mm, figured get 4 new ones since the dealer offered a good deal.
Only problem.. the

that fitted them, thought it would be a good idea to stick the balancing weight right on the Alloy, next to the valve!!
So, I'm gonna have another hour round trip to get it sorted, and hope that it won't wreck the lacquer taking the weight off!!

Well, the worst thing.... It was through the dealer .. you think they might of noticed (drivers side front!)
So if the wheel is wrecked, I'm demanding another one to replace it!!!!!
The dealer didn't fit it, they took it to someone else to do... but still!!!!

doesn't matter - the dealer took your money - the dealer can resolve it.
you really should go through the dealer, as they need to be aware of the shoddy workmanship of the company they are outsourcing this work to.

Hi Matt,
Yes I'm going through the dealer.... when I got home and noticed it the first thing I did was call and chew them a new

.. they say they'll take it back to get sorted, but an hour round trip, and 5 quid in fuel, *** knows when I'll have a chance!

Gonna try and go back tomorrow (if work allows)....
You reckon I could get a freebie (i.e. chrome exhaust trim) for the inconvience??

Perhaps they saw your post. The Reading dealer checks the forums so they know what to expect in terms of common faults etc and can be prepared with warranty position, solution etc once people come in with that fault.
