Personally i use Collinite 476`s paste wax excellent wax and lasts a very long time on the car ( very good for winter use ) or P21`s (think its called P22`s now ) again very good but does not last as long on the car as collinite...

Depending on what colour car you have? Certain waxes will enhance certain colours better.
The main key is the preparation, washing, claying etc
On dark colours car, i have used Dodo supernatural with quite a good outcome.
Hope this helps, if you really want to get into detailing your car have a look on detailing world.

For the home user Dodo have a great selection & have quite good durability, I am not really a fan of so called colour enhanced waxes so wouldnt get too caught up in blue velvet for just blue cars etc, or if you are looking for a more fancy wax you could try Swissvax very good waxes & detailing products but of course will be a bit more expensive than say colinite or dodo

Whilst Collinite is classed as a wax, it's more a polymer hybrid compared to the traditionally made waxes.
Dodo is a good starting point, with a decent size jar for not a whole load of money, but don't rule out others like Autoglym HD Wax or the Meguiar's #16 (which is effectively Zymöl Carbon), and very good value for the money.
At the end of the day, it really all depends on how much you fancy paying.
As mentioned above, the colour charging of the Dodo waxes plays no real role in the appearance of your car's paintwork - prep (aka claying and polishing) is key.

I had Permanon done on my car. Had it applied 4 months ago and the paint still looks amazing. No more waxing or polishing.
Works well on wheels aswell. Stops the brake dust from sticking so much. Just used a pressure washer and the dust flew off
