i just got a new ariel from e bay and fitted it as per instructions...........supprisingly easy, thanks to info from here

any way the problem i have is that at the very bottom of the arial dropping it dos not fully close, is it something that happens with replaced arials or have i done something a little wrong it all fits together elsewhere ok

Are you sure there is none of the original cord stuck inside? Check this topic I did a while ago mate and see if it helps [url="http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=50518&hl="]clicky[/url]

i guess thats a possibility, though the old one didnt look to jagged like it had left a bit there,

i can live with it at the moment, when i get a chance to get at the complete unit i will have a go and clear it out
