i've got an altezza and the dereg cert and proof of vat payment to take to get the iva done, what do i need, the lights have been altered already and the fuel pipe seems to have the diesel blocker thingy, do i need a thatcham alarm installed and the dials changed to run mph or can i get away with that, anything else????

If you haven't got one already you will need to install a rear foglight on the offside rear, with a switch on the dash or to look cosmetically better alter the rear light clusters to build them in.
I don't think you need an alarm system for the IVA but your insurance company will probably insist.
Mine is converted to MPH but again not sure if it is a legal requirement as my MOT tester always asks me if the odometer is in miles or kilometers.
Also the top speed is normally limited to 112MPH so if you want to derestrict ( you may want to track day it! :whistling: ) have it done at the same time as the speedo conversion ( most kits do both).
I take it that yours is a personal import as most already have the necessary paperwork done before purchase.
