Hi

I have a 2000 V IS200 Sport, which on occasions has the following sequence of errors that happen together:

- Get an 'E' in the central temp guage
- Engine temp needle and fuel consumption needle go flat
- Empty fuel indicator starts flashing
- Air con stops working

After an overnight rest these problems rectify themselves! Dealer has no idea what it is!

Anyone else had this sort of problem?

Thanks

Get the dealer to use their super dupa computer to check the ECU. Maybe reset it. Had a similar problem on my 306 XSi

Sounds like a power supply fault.
There is a plug on the drivers side fuse box. The plug isat the back edge towards the accelerator pedal, second one up from the bottom.Pin 9 holds a Black/Red wire which supplies power to the air con. Pin 1 holds a Red/Blue wire that supplies power to a section of the instument panel.
You could check this is plugged in correctly, and also check all the fuses on the car from both internal fuseboxes and the under bonnet one. Corroded or cracked fuses will work most of the time, but can be difficult to detect.

Failing that, Dealer job me thinks.......
