I've had my IS200 Sport since October 02. The gearbox is still notchy when I change gear, is this normal? or should I give it another month or so before I take it to the dealer. How long does it normally take before its nice and slick? Thanks.

doubt if you will ever get it nice. I had the gearbox fluid changed on mine. Has made it a little better, but I find when its cold out and you first drive it, its hard to get from 1st to 2nd.

There is loads of threads about this. SupraChargedIS340 mentioned something about a technical note regarding a gearbox tolerance issue. Keep trying the dealer, they know its a common problem. Do it sooner rather than later though, as it will take a while to sort out!
