hey everyone,
i have two bridgestone tyres on my front wheels that have worn out on the outer side quite alot. So, from the outside it looks like tyre tread is almost at the limit but then when i look inside and feel inside the tyre, it has around 5mm tread left. i've been told that they will last me around 1k miles more but it seems to me like such a waste of tyre for wear that is only on the outside edge of each tyre. I have had my alignment re-done as this may have been causing it.
Can anyone clarify if this is the case and that i actually have to replace the tyres?
thanks

Who did you get the geometry re-done by..?
Have you managed to speak to tony bones @ WIM...?

If you are down to 1.5 mm on the outside then you need to change them regardless of the inside. It does sound like you need a full 4 wheel geometry check as the IS250 series tend to wear on the inside but not as bad as the IS200 used to.
