I just bought a set of 18" wheels for my IS200 when i have it fitted it's out of the wheel arches both f/r.
THE WHEEL SIZE IS 5X114 8JX 18" ET40 (225/40/18)
Any help please?

The offset is wrong, there is nothing you can do about it unless you go for flared arches.

Are you sure they're ET40? Ormi's car is on ET35 I think and they don't stick out like that :unsure:

It's sticks out a bit as well

I would take the rim off and just double check the off set

they should fit in fine as there is other members running 18x8's with a 35et and not having a problem

have you got a side on pic of the car

no danger they are a et35!!mibbi et 25 :o i'm runnin 18/8.et35 and they sit further in than that,heres a few pics(mines the green is200)

I checked the wheels and it's 8.5JX18

whats the offset?? and 8.5"wide :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: you have a low offset with a wide wheel thats the problem matey.if you lower it or even if your cars full you might get some rubbing issues.

The offset is et40. I rang your man whom i bought the wheels from and told them about it. He had it collected yesterday and will be replacing them with the proper ones:) I hope they'll get it right this time. Thanks everyone!!!

et40 thats about right mate and 8.5's will go on and sit fine with that offset. :unsure:
