HI PEEPS,

I have a gs430 on a 2001 mk2 which doesnt have power steering , but the steering gets lighter sometimes and sometimes is very stiff.

I have noticed that when i rev the car or drive fast it has some amount of power steering for a short while.

I have been told that the power steering pump is faulty as the steering fluid has been the same for ove 6 months and hasnt dropped in level, so does this eliminate any leaks..??

I also had a code read done on my car as it drives fine but seems to be very bumpy on idle and judders most of the time, but ok when in motion.

The Management light is on and the code i got was P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)

I then went to my mechanic who diagnosed that i need the following sensor "bank 2 sensor 2"

I called lexus (Leeds) and they quoted me £192.00 exc vat, is there anywhere else that i can buy this sensor from

Thanks in advance

Google CheapToyotaParts, Japparts and LexusPartsDirect- they do OEM Toyota parts cheaper than Lexus main dealers.
