What is the warranty on the eleven spoke alloy wheels fitted to the IS200/300. Is it the same as the bodywork warranty? The wheels on my Dec 2003 IS 300 are showing some corrosion. I seem to remember having the originals changed in 2005 which make these about 4 years old. I'm in for a 60,000mls service tomorrow and was wondering what my chances are of wheel replacement.

No warranty I'd say. Once the original wheels were replaced I think you got a 12 month warranty on the replacement set- I think that's how it worked when I got a replacement set a few years ago now.

Your local dealer may replace the corroded wheels as goodwill gesture, if you don't ask you don't get, right? If the dealer says no, then why not look at aftermarket wheels?

I think the bodywork warranty is still 12 years.
