when you play the cassette does the CD drive switch itself off automatically?
I have noticed that it its the other way round, unless the cassette is ejected it continues to run.
sesha
sorry, i probably didnt make it very clear.

the second sentence should have been, when the Cd player is running unless the cassette is ejected it (cassette) continues to run.

Ahh is that what it's for! And here's me thinking it was for storing a 4-bar kit-kat all this time.
Brettster
I never thought of using it for storing a kitkat

Thanks djanerso Im going to fit one asap

And once you've tried that out - can I suggest you load up the pancake holder with 6 of the finest pancakes you can buy (don't recommend the maple syrup though!) :iraqi-info-minister:
Brettster

Ahh, you mean a Tattie Scone! - Marvellous along with square sausage and egg after a heavy saturday night.

Sorry sesha, we're not taking your post very seriously... I'm sure my CD switches off when I play a cassette, but to be honest I've probably used my cassette twice in 2 and half years.
Brettster
I dont even know if my tape works as Ive never tried it
I poked my finger in the slot once to make sure it had some guts in there
but never put a tape in

I don't mind as long as you "digital" guys don't recommend to lexus, to get rid of the cassette player in their next edition of IS200! :)
