well as i'm doing the turbo install and the car is parked up for this i have a few projects to do..

so this is what i did today

i removed the covers from the mirrors and cut a template of the led blinker units i got...
taped it onto the cover and cut it out but not the full size.. got a straight file and round file and finished them off
by hand.... so next it's to make a bit of room in the mirror for them to sit in and the covers are going to get a polish before...
it's a bit to cold out there to do it today but once i've got them in i will add a couple more photo's

I bought the same LED lights off Ebay some time ago but have never had the time or inclination to fit them, I didn't fancy damaging the mirrors in the process then there was the problem of getting the wiring to them.
Don't get the wiring wrong or you'll end up with flashing blue lights, useful but illegal!!!!

Im looking on ebay but cant find any....can you point me towards any?

Also, do you know if the wiring is difficult to connect up?

yer would be handy but a big no on that.... wonder how long it will take before i get pulled over and asked to remove them?

lol - it would be very funny if you did take teh car out for a spin as soon as you fit them and got stopped by the police.

as to the wiring i guess you can take if from the front fender lamp and side light feed thats how i'm going to hook mine up...

Would it be an MoT fail to fit repeaters in your mirrors and then remove the wing repeaters completely?

i think not as you need only one on each side....

check out the new merc and it just has them on the mirrors so i would say that if you fit these you can remove the wing ones
