You need a handicap of 24, I can't play golf at all so won't be playing but I'm thinking of going along as a spectator

wish i had bought a new lexus... I play of 16.. although i dont get to play as much as i would like to , Never mind at least i have got a good excuse to go down the driving range now as my youngest (6yrs old) has really taken to it .

Might want to make it a course where you do not have to have an official handycap as i am sure the are a few members out there that are very good golfers but have not got an official one, Does anybody know how long a hanicap card lasts for? i got mine about 4/5 yrs ago.. (when I played at least once or twice a week) maybe I should play off 20 as well lol

i play golf but only played once this year for the full 18holes though, dnt get time to do the full course normally.

aint got a clue wot my handicap is or how to work it out

i know im good all except for my putting

a club handicap is calculated by submitting 3 cards of medal format (every hit from tee to hole) no gimmee's.
no hole can have a score of more than two over par(so if you have an 8 on a par5 it's changed to a 7)
once all cards have been adjusted the 3 cards are added together and divided by 3 .
then that figure is taken away from the par of the course .
and there's your handicap.

..

And in my case its the clubs themselves bad workman always blames his tools... so by the sounds of it dlayen.. may be up for it
