This is my 1st post... I have just bought a set of 18" styling alloys from ebay 270516852303. Can you tell me whats the best tire size i should be putting on?

tyre size you want is 225/40/18's mate.

I am thinking of getting 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 staggered alloy wheels. 225/40/18 tyres for the front wheels, but what tyre size for the rear staggared alloys?

Any issues I should be aware of relating to offset? What should the offset figure be?

Are you going for a bit of a stretch as 225 doesn't seem like enough width for an 8.5" wheel?

Ok I think i figured out the front tyre size:

Front rims 18 x 8.5 require tyres 255/35/18 what should the offset be?


Can anyone confirm which tyre size for Rear rims 18 x 9.5?

The standard wheels are 7" wide and have an offset of 50 I think.

sure 255's are two wide for the front...

Research now completed, thanks guys. Anyone thinking of running staggered 18"x 8.5 front and 18" x 9.5 rear will need tyres: 225/40 for the front and 255/35 for the rears. I will post pictures once the set up is complte.

Any picture of those staggered wheels yet??

I haven't found any pics regarding those wheels. Waiting to watch those staggered wheels.

mine came with 235/40 fronts and 265/35 rears and sit perfect on the rims
