Well this weekend i shall attempt to fit the demon eyes, looking at some instruction i will need to remove the front bumper  or can i simply remove the headlights without taking the bumper off.
has anyone any advice on removing this..
Fidgits
Yes....

Although it seems popular opinion is to remove the front bumper.. I managed to replace the lights without doing so.

My advice, go through the arch liner, remove the 2 10mm nuts, then the 10mm bolt from above the headlight. Remove all the black lug screws, and take off the grill.

If you look from the grill space, you will see a black 'clip' which is still holding the light in place, I used a flat screwdriver to 'pop' this out. Then just careful wiggling to get the light out.

Removing the grill allows you to move the uprights off the bumper a little to get them out.

Have a look Here

Follow steps 1-6, then it's just pop the clip, and remove...

I tended to find it easier to take the indicator side out first, then slide diagonally away from the radiator...

Fisgits my man....i thank you.. i wasnt looking forward to taking the bumper off. when you did yours, did you have any probs concerning the headlight motor adjustment.
Fidgits
No problem.....

new lights didn't have them

Just unplug the 'plug', and take out the motor with the light. You can unscrew this from the lights if required..

Did you buy them trough Lextasy.com?

I want to buy them aswell, but I still have a question about it.

Maybe you guys can help me.

My car is a 2000 is200 without Xenon headlights. Can I fit the demon lights then and have the white/blue look like I see on the pictures.

Thanx & Greetz

Putting them back in is easy, tuck the lip behind the bumper upright, line up the 2 10mm bolts, and slide them in. Then just a firm push to lock it into place.. replace bolts etc...

no prblemo,, i may even do my own insatll pictures.. only thing that is worrying me is taking the headlight apart and sealing back togehter.
mrbvg
I thinks sealing it back togheter wont be such a problem, its taking it appart without cracking it that would worry me :shutit: .

well i read that sticking it in an oven at 200 c for 15mins will soften the glue..

WELL i have graound to a halt.. i have replaced the cooked rear light cluster and i am using the old one to perform my experimants on to try and find the best temp to 'cook' at..
i looked at a heatgun but they seem to start at 300degC so no good.. think i may end up going the hairdryer route although i fear that will take for ever..
would be so much easier if there was a bodyshop or something that would seperate the unit, or even if Lexus bodyshop themselves..
