well, I just found out that I may not be able to ship my Altezza to England from Japan.
long story short, I have to do all the leg work, and I am running out of time.
not to mention I will end up eating all of the costs and crap.
man that sucks, no time to strip all my goodies off of her before I roll out,
not too mention that if I end up selling it, I will never make back my investment.
oh well, sucks to be me I guess.

hence why i said "dont often appear in the same sentence"
Southampton is a decent modern port, though most cars will come through an agent and be esva'd
presume this will be a personal import and if meets the criteria should be a pain free experience

ship it mate. You will get part of your investment if not all when you sell it in UK. However, there is one condition. Once is in Uk stop spending money on an modifications ... which ..erm ...is very hard once the modification bug hits you. VERY HARD.
good luck!!! You will need it.

I voted that you ship your car.
I take it that you have put a lot of time/money into modifying your car? If it can be shipped, then I say bring the car with you.

the shipping seems to be going a little smoother than expected.
Monday i de-register the vehicle and drop it off to be trucked to the shipping port.
i am a little nervous, but the company i am going through seems to be reputable enough.
i will keep everyone posted.
