Going to Wembley on Sunday. rather than drive to teh ground I have decided to park near Stanmore Station and get the tube in from there.
I have found a parking space using Parkatmyhouse.com
Anyone everused this? Will my car be there when I get back? All booked but having a few second thoughts.

Not used it but I doubt it's risky like that. I don't know how much you're paying for it so may not be a lot, but why not just park somewhere on the street and then take the tube?

I know but want the surety of being able to park. I don't know London at all and the last thing I want to be doing is driving around and around looking for somewhere to park. Also don't like leaving my car on the road.

They have featured on some news programs, seems a good idea. I guess anything is only as good as the person you are dealing with. BUt having said that you know their contact details and address so should be fine.

Fair point, Stanmore's quite residential so parking should be quite easy but don't know how many people will be planning to do the same as you so wise to make a plan.

An alternative is to park at Brent Cross Shopping centre as its right next to the M1 and tube from there.

But yeah Steve's right, seeing as you're parking at someone's house, they can hardly do anything to your car as you know where they live.

The wonder that is Google Maps means that I have just checked out address, it is where/what he says it is. The house next door has a IS250/220.

Some of the housed also have reviews from people who have used then before.

Yeah I'm sure it'll be fine, it looks like it could actually be a useful tool - just out of curiosity how much is the parking going to cost you?
Steve ( West Mids )
Normally around £10 a day around there as a one off.

If you give me the exact address where you leave the car and leave the keys on top of the front nearside tyre I will check it all out for you :whistling:
Seriously I do a similar thing when I fly from East Midlands Airport in that I have a friend who lives in nearby Castle Donnington, I go to the airport and leave the other half and the luggage(mainly hers!) at the terminal, I then drive to my friends, leave the car and spare key with her then catch the airport shuttle bus back to the airport.
On our return we get a taxi back to the house and collect the car.
Costs me a bottle of spirits, duty free of course!

It worked an absolute treat.
1 minute walk to Stanmore Station. Was back at car and on my way by 6pm. Defo recomend it.
