Full Version: Is 200 Wheels

Hello

Im looking at buying a is200 soon.

i have been looking round for wheels to go on it, and im woundering can you get away with running-

18*8.5 with an offset of 30 or 36 on the front
then
18*9.5 with either an offset of 10 or 35 on the rears

no chance mate.........i'm running et 35 with wheels that are 8"wide and they sit flush with the arches so theirs no way you can run a 35 offset with 9.5" wide wheels

think arch rolling would have to be on the cards then lol

think you'd need a little more than arch rolling matey.lol,you would need to pull them out approx 2 inches....lol

These are the wheels i like at min would any of them do- [url="http://www.ultralitewheels.com/nurburgring.htm"]http://www.ultralitewheels.com/nurburgring.htm[/url] (fitment table at bottom want gold thow)

Or does anyone know where i can get similar style that would fit

none of them will fit mate the offset is way too wrong..

ive seen 18x9.5 et12 on a is200 my mate borrowed to drift a round of the bdc :whistling:

can we see pics?????and can we see some of the wheel to arch pics??check out my pics 18x8.5 et 35 sits just past the arch(approx 1 cm) i have to run 215's so they tuck under the arches so would love to see a set of 18x9.5 et12's on a is200.......
so please post some pics for us........

Ok does anyone know where i can get a similar style to the ultralites that would fit??

Or any nice deep dish split rims (proper or lookalikes)


Also i have been offered a set of 18s which are-

et 48 18x8 front
et 50 18x9 rear

This is my car on 18x8 Et30 and 18x9.5 Et10!

dont be so sure everyone ;) you can run as aggresive set up a you want aslong as your willing to do arch mods, camber adjustments and tyre stretches to say the least! trust me ive been there and got the postcard on other cars ive owned.

these will go on with [b]ALOT[/b] of tweeking!!

Arches on an IS200 are nice and flexible so lots of room can be gained from them if your willing.

Make the car fit the wheels, not the other way around. The final result will be more pleasing.

ere fella to get that set up to fit exactly what did you need to do how much work on the arches ect and any details of who carried out the work
