Hi i was thinking of upgrading my front speakers can anyone tell me if 6.5" is the correct size and can anyone tell me if its a strait swap over to other speakers like [url="http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_238023_langId_-1_categoryId_165707#dtab"]these[/url]
and can anyone tell me wat is the max depth i can get thanks agian for your help.

I am not sure what size the speakers are, but I wonder - what do you think - what improves the quality of sound more - swapping the speakers or the headunit? P.S. do the front speakers differ with different sound system setups (to my knowledge, back speakers differ).

Why do you want to change them? Are they defective? The Lexus speakers are excellent quality and when I had my Alpine head fitted the guy who did it commented that I didn't need to change them. Save your money for something worthwhile.

errr.. excellent quality??? compared to what??
they are far from excellent..
You will notice an improvement with a new HU, again if you go for a good set of fronts (look around the £100/£150mark)even more so if you went for a good amp to power them..
I have put these [url="http://www.bassjunkies.com/audio/mb-quart-rua-216"]MB Quart[/url] in a few is200s and they sound great!!
Make sure to fit a good mdf mount..
