I washed my car yesterday- it was absolutly flithy! It last had a wash 1500 miles ago and since it was a sunny day yesterday, I gave the car the full works- wash, clay, polish/wax (Meg's 3 step system), tyres dressed etc. I also cleaned the interior.

I also wanted to give her a good clean to wash off any salt/grit that maybe stuck in the wheelarches/underneath that the car has picked up over winter.

I spent 5 hours to get it looking all clean and shiney.

I also decided to take off the chrome exhaust tip and clean that up as well (sorry no before pics as I forgot to take some). But here are some after pics:

Exhaust tip fitted back onto the car:

She doesn't look too bad for a 9.5 year old car.

Looks 10x better!

Blacks always such a hard colour to look after as it seems to show every swirl mark!

Thanks for the comment mate.

Locking nuts are aftermarket ones- McGuard locking nuts they are. Bought them from Halfords a few years ago- they are a lot better than the standard 3 pin Lexus ones. A lot of people have found that the pins snap off the Lexus ones.
