HI WELL GOT MY PERFECT ALTEZZA BUT HOWEVER IT HAS THE EVER SO SLIGHT LEAK OF PAS FROM THE STEERING RACK GAITER NOTICED IT TODAY WHILE IN THE RAMP CHECKING IT OVER JUST TWO DRIPS OR SO, SO DO I TRY FOR A RACK UNDER MY WARRANTY I WAS ISSUED BY THE IMPORTER OR BOOK IT INTO TOYOTA AND TRY GET THE SEAL REPLACED? AM STUCK AS I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE ALTEZZA MODEL IS THE RACK ON MY RS200 ALTEZZA THE SAME AS A IS200.? ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED. IS THE SEAL EASY TO REPLACE THE ONE NEAR THE TRACK ROD UNDER THE GAITER BOOT?

my warranty states my max claim limit is £500 not so good

Not sure how things work over there but here you would expect the dealer/importer to fix any issues like this for you as they've sold you a vehicle in a state that isn't road worthy/up to a MOT standard. You shouldn't have to claim on your warranty.

hey thanks for the reply spoke to toyota near me they said they dont get involved with imports, *****, also spoke to the importer and he said if i find someone to strip and replace the seal he will pa providing its not hundreds of pounds and that way i dont have to use my warranty he said. just hope its a seal thats available so i dont need a rack. as he will not pay for a rack he said unless used or recon.
