Noticed this chip on the wing when polishing recently, which I'm not too happy with!

It's goine straight down to the metal, and is around 7.5mm across.

Can anyone recommend, especially in the suffolk area, a good stone chip repairer... searchs on the web have come up with a whole heap of stuff, and the coffee in me blood makes my hands shake, so I wouldn'tr want to do it meself.

Help!

I have a similar chip - from a metal rod thrown up by the car in front. So far touched it up myself. Asked ChipsAway for a quote but the guy said he wouldn't do it as the car is silver and hard to match in such an obvious place (on top of the wing near the bonnet). Perhaps one day another nissan micra will take out that panel instead...

Not sure if this is any help .... but ...

Tydemans in Crowfield (Nr Stowmarket) are the repairer used by Lexus Ipswich.
Not that that constitutes any kind of recommendation ... just for info.

i had one like that on my silver is200 , not as big , and i touched it up with the touch up kit . if you are careful you can do a good job (you can spot it if you really look closely) if you get it painted by a pro it will cost a mint plus you won`t get the cost back when (if you ever) sell it . most people expect some where and tear in a second hand car ! good luck !

Cheers for that chaps... I know Tydemans do the repairs and stuff, and will give them a shout. Seems a bit of overkill for a chip though!

OK then - a touch up set from the dealer costs under a fiver
