you will do well to get an aftermarket speaker with the same impedance's as the stock speakers as they are a very strange configuration.

did the existing one just fail or have you damaged it??
jonthebarber
wound it up with a bit of dance music (bass on 0 treble on +1 mid on 0 fader on 0 and volume half way round) , you should hear it now it sounds terrible any bass in any song sounds like a very very cheap stereo and thats with the bass down to -2 and the fade +3 at the front . looks like its off to the dealers and pay the price of DANCE MUSIC ! (mind you when it was working it sounded *****)

were those ones i gave u knackered?

will find out what those ones that are in mine are they are cheap
but i have a sub he he he

they are quieter than the standard ones

oh you coming to leads this weekend john?
jonthebarber
no matey the one speaker you kindly gave me is fine its the other back one of mine thats buggerd got a quote and they wanted £130 + vat (for one) so i thought i might try your root (but without the sub) did they fit straight in (screw holes , etc ?) and how did you compensate for the quiter sound ? (not inc the sub) .as for leeds i have to much on this weekend (well the missus has) so have a good un` . cheers . jon .
wildrnes
you need the sub for the speakers i have got

they didnt fit straight in the drill holes were in odd places

Please, whatever you do, do not buy a speaker from lexus if its £130 for one. No offence but you could do alot better from a Shop that specialises in that stuff. Believe me, and getting a sub? Very good choice.
