My seat has gone saggy and now has a tear between the holes . Dealer has taken pictures and sent to lexus i phoned today to see what was going to be done about it car only has 18000m on it to be told there "experts" have looked at the picture and it must be something in someones pocket i know for a fact that this is not the case . I asked to speak to some one higher up to be told i would not get any higher up then them ! wondered what should i do now ??? has this happened to anyone else ?

Hello mate, that sounds like a nightmare!

I had the same problem on my IS. It was my fault, I was wearing cargo pants and one of the back pocket zips got caught. the tear was small but noticeably. We got it repaired by Lexus Bracknell who got a local leather specialist in Reading to repair it. The repair/match was outstanding and it cost around 200....

Hi, Have you tried Lexus customer services, I only had a small problem about 8 years ago, but found them very good even though the car was 6 years old & out of warranty, admittedly this was a mechanical problem, but they did go halves with me, give them a try, lay it on a bit about how disappointed you are, you never no.

If all else fails send a letter and e-mail to Toyota city in Japan.

You will need to look up address and CEO.I sent a letter congratulating them
on the perfection achieved with my GS450h and received a letter back
from the second in command of whole Toyota group.
Give it a try you have nothing to lose and will probably get a
free keyring as well.
