Can hear this weird crackling /clicking noise frm the driver side door when i get out? Lasts a couple minutes.. any1 had this or have any idea what it might be? Cheers guys.

thats the exhaust/cats cooling down....

I was worried about the same noise till my brother told me it was just stuff cooling down...

oh weird! so all the IS200s do that then?

the exhaust n cats must get well hot on the is200 as i aint really heard it on any other cars. My civic didnt used to make much noise when cooling down

my gs300 is the same. i had to stop and listen for a second, it's really loud.

Same here. It's unusually loud, so much so that I thought the exhaust had to be knackered when I first got it! Checked out the exhaust and it's all fine, so I guess it's a quirk of the car

My old BMW (sorry for cursing) did this too. Just the exhaust cooling down.
