i wouldnt say its cheap! it sounds like a reasonable price IMO

well each to their own opinion-last two of these rare and becoming rarer kits i have seen for sale recently went for £2300 & £2200 respectively without all the bits nessacary to fit-this one of stavs has everything and with stavs reputation for fairness and experience with these cars i would take his word for it that it is in good working order as opposed to buying one from someone less reputable - i even thought about having it myself but i want to do a 300 so gonna pass - it is cheap though,ask ormi or edeath

Good price and well worth it,i got mine from TDI 2050 fine pounds plus 587 to fit.not really impressed with them as the belt was on its last legs and the tensioner had play in it,but the S/C is fine changed oil etc.

Did you buy this from TDI's ebay auction recently? They were selling a supercharger (on behalf of a customer) through ebay. If I remember, they were looking for £2.8k for the supercharger kit?

yes thats the same one,works fine and pulls well.
I just don't think much of there master tech as she put it and im sure if it was in for a service they would of told me about the belt and tensioner and replaced it for a great amount of money lol.

Didn't they want a load of parts from you? I think that was part of the deal? So what happens if you decide in the future you want to sell your car and return it to standard? You would have to buy a load of standard parts? I looked into this auction and I was put off by this reason (and besides a TTE supercharger is worth £2k, not what TDI were asking).

kam why dont you go for stavs one then ? at least you know its coming from someone trustworthy

My financial circumstances have now changed, so I'm not in a position to buy. (Unless Stav doesn't mind me paying in monthly installments? I don't think he would go for this?)

yes they took some parts off mine,but to be honest you could get these items from a breakers yard.
I paid 2050 pounds for the complete set up and 587pounds for them to install it (fitting a bit to pricey.
so there for one for sale on this thread is a good price all in all.
