Hello,

I want to buy a set of summer tyres/wheels instead of my current 16" Business wheels setup (gonna keep those for the winter time with wintertyres).

I have searched the whole net for et's, width and rim size. Rolling fenders and all that. Most of it is based on 18" or 19" wheels. Calculators I don't get...I know...

Now I've seen a real nice second hand set. But I want to know if it fits? I've seen a lot of threads with these questions but please be gentle ;-) Again, I'm a noob concerning this wheel size/fitting/tyre size info.

What about 17" Advan model 5 (bronze). Size 9j all around, 5 x 114,3, offset +45? Will this fit cause i haven't seen a 17" in width 9j mentioned before anywhere I guess?? And if so, which tyre size is recommendable and will there be an actions (rolling fenders) needed?

Some xtra info; I want to get the car lowered (30mm) in the (near) future.

Thnx for youre advices and please be gentle!

Damn....had that thought already but couldn't figure it out in all the info...shame. Thanks for replying though. So a 9j in the rear and 8 or 8,5 in the front will fit?

The set was EUR 700 used (10 km under the car), for only the wheels, nice price I thought.

The other option I had in mind is a brand new set of 5Zigen Pro Racer GN+ in 17", 7,5j, ET +43 with 215/40(45)/17

You can nearly always make them fit mate. You'd just have to get some spacers and some longer bolts to make sure the wheel doesnt hit the strut. You may need to roll the arches then tho or make sure you have some decent stretch on the tyres so the tread stays within the arch (not sure on your laws out there tho)
