TVR Meeting in Japan 1st June 2003

didn't read the japan part of the title (im half asleep) and i was lookin to c where u was.......... haha kinda dificult tryin to find someone that aint there

Mini's seem to be making a comeback in Japan as well....

The Engine place where Scot (TOC) is getting his engine bored, stroked, polished, balanced etc... is inundated with mini engines that are getting the works and then shipped over to Japan.....

Maybe they're just fedup of hearing about the Italian job and are going to do the Japanese job with a lot more mini's than the three originals

My mate's a member of the TVR Club (Berkshire)...you don't have to go to Japan to find a new owners club

has it broken down yet

The car is fine and has not broken down. The reaction to the car has been alarming, where ever I leave it, it will have a crowd around it when I get back.

I have had more people talk to me about it in the last 4 weeks than I did with 4 years of Lexus ownership.

I have joined the TVR club as you would imagine, its much bigger than LOC with over 6500 paying members but then again has been going longer.

The website forums are very poor in conpraison to the LOC. Not many posts and to few people using it.

Its organised from what I can see very well and have local meets for the regions every month. The west midlands one get 30-40 cars turn up each month.

It has a very professional glossy mag called TVR Sprint set to members every month etc.

However most owners it would appear use the Petrol Heads website/forums which is similar to LOC. But LOC is still in mine mind one of the best Car forums out there....
