I hope that someone can help?

I have recently purchased a GS 300. It was registered in 1996.

All I bought the car with was the chauffeur key (grey) and sadly without knowing this I pushed the lock in between the fuel release and boot release. Now Im unable to open the boot.

Is there a way of releasing this lock, or is my only option to have a new lock fitted?

Again, I hope someone can help...

My email is pgibsob010@hotmail.com

If thats easier to reply.

Kind Regards

Paul

I haven't taken mine apart, but would think it could be dismantled if removed from the car. Or atleast the connector on the back could be bypassed to allow the release to be used without the key position coming into play. It is linked into the Anti Theft ECU, but no idea how clever it is to being bypassed.
