Hello everyone,
I have now decided to sell my Lexus alloy wheels.
These wheels were on my Fathers 1996 GS300 Sport which he had owned since new. I inherited the car four years ago and decided to update the alloys to a newer set. I have now changed cars since then and felt its time to clear out the garage. Each alloy wheel has been polished and boxed before going into storage. It is probably worth mentioning that the wheels have only covered 37,000 miles.
The fronts measure 8x18" and the rears are 10x18". The offset for the front wheels is 40 and the rears are 46. They are in fact made by Borbet in Germany, which I was unaware of.
All the wheels are in very good condition with the only exception of some discolouration on certain parts of the spokes and the rim. One of the front alloys has a light scuff which has only captured the very outer part of the rim. The dark grey shadow inserts on each of the alloys is perfect and will not need repainting, it's purely the face of the alloys in certain areas that need refurbished. None of the marks on the wheels make them unusable; I just know how people appreciate being told the truth as it's what I would expect if I were buying something. All the wheels drive exactly as they should, there are no flat spots, buckles, cracks or any signs of previous repair work to have ever been carried out. They are completely original.
I also have all the bolts for the wheels including all four centre caps and the individual screws that keep them in place. I also have three cap locking tools as well.
The front tyres will be needing replaced simply due to age. However, the rear tyres were replaced with new Bridgestone Potenza's and have covered no more than 2,000 miles. The front tyres are 245/40/18 and the rears are 275/35/18.
