I have been a member for a short while, but never posted.

I have a 1999 GS300 with the LCD incar entertainment head unit, I know they have a common problem with the head unit lcd display.

The digits have started to fade, can I please get some advice on what is the best option for getting it repaired,

or is it best to change the head unit?[/b][/size]

On the program Wheeler Dealers, They had a Lexus LS400, And they had a similar problem with the LCD display. They got a refurbed one of the internet, took a bit of soldering to fit but it did the trick. I expect if you go on-line you could find out where to source one from.
