HI all, New member asking question for first time, so please be kind if its already been asked.

I have just got an '06 GS 300SE-L (beautiful by the way), and the dealer said it would play DVD movies on the sat nav screen. So far i have no been able to make this work. I have seen some comments about being in park etc, but still no luck. Its a standard UK car with ML sound system. I had the dealer fit the ipod cable before i agreed to buy it as well. So it has everything i want. The icing on the cake would be to play DVD movies. An help apprecaited. Having movies on the move, amy be nice as well, but not essential. Ca anyone help?

+ Small note. I found a hidden menu by holding in the INFO button and turning the lights on and off three times. This enabled me to turn the phone volume up a bit as it was a bit quiet. Not sue what all the other items were, but i didn't want to fiddle to muc as the car is new for me.

Hi, If I remember correctly the standard audio equipment in a 2006 GS 300 SE-L does not play DVD’S. unless it has a upgraded system in it. If it does play DVD’s , all you have to do is put a DVD into the slot, press the AUDIO button and the display will show the DVD in the list. You cant play the DVD on the move , the hand break has to be firmly on before the DVD will play, you only get the sound while moving
