Hi all!

i currently have an IS200 and im looking for something with a bit of power.

Milage, insurance & MPG not a concern. just looking at GS430 in good condition with good spec and wondered what they're like to live with?

recently came into a bit of money so still intend to keep the IS, just after something different. :shifty:

One thing i will say about them is they are damn quick ,you will really like what happens when you put your foot down :winky: .Get one with the sat nav and i think you would be extremely happy with it.

just what i wanted to hear : ) thanks

anything I should look out for?

Ive got just over £6,000 to play with so hoping to get something half decent.
Did they facelift teh interior at a certain year? am I right in thinking the outside didnt change much until 05/06 ?
BJ430
I am on my sixth GS and my 3rd 430.

I have had one rear number plate bulb blow and one lamda sensor go (when a d***head mechanic did a spanner slide up the exhaust at MOT time) on my present car.

Lexus did replace the wheelset at 4.5 years of age - which I was pleased with.

They are quick, OK in the wet but you need to be aware.

I used to do 30-40k p.a. and really give it some hammer across the cross penine roads and at night on motorways.

I am no longer doing the big miles but wouldn't swap it for a big clock.

I understand that the post 2005 build quality is not quite as good as the pre 2005.

You will love it and at the speed limit at 2500 rpm it can be a most relaxing drive as well.

I am averaging on short journeys about 23 mpg.

Regards..........B
