I delivered the car at 9am, went through the problems I had given them over the phone and added a few more that had slipped my mind.
I was given a 52 reg IS200 SE in red and went on my merry way.
I have listed my gripes at the end of these comments, as well as the outcomes.
Call around 11am to say that they could only replace four wheels, and not the spare, the reason for this being that it was badly curbed, so wasn’t covered under warranty. I hadn’t ever looked at the spare from the front, had just checked the tread of the tyre when I bought the car (private sale). I didn’t argue, thought fair enough.
I picked my car up at 4.30pm with four spanky ‘new’ wheels, which I must say look very nice indeed - mental note: must stay away from curbs.
All in all, very impressed with Chester Lexus. Throughout my first dealings with them they were always courteous and informative.
Now for my list of gripes;

Booked in for new sunroof
[b]No illuminating ignition barrel[/b]
Needs new bulb - not in stock, so will be fixed with the sunroof
[b]Squeak in back of car[/b]
Will be looked at more thoroughly when in for sunroof
[b]Buttons 5 & 6 on CD player sticking[/b]
New CD player ordered
[b]Clunking gear change[/b]
Booked in for new gear box
All in all I am a very happy bunny - Now all I need to do is find a way of stopping people from opening there ******* car doors into my car.
