Anyone with a 450h done the sat nav dvd modification to enable on the move . I did my IS250 4 years ago bot wonder if the wiring is the samee .

Glad you got it sorted, must admit it does get quiet around here sometimes!

There is another way, which is to update your SAT Nav discs. I updated my 2007 GS450h to the 2010 discs and this problem went away.

Care to message me the details? Been thinking about trying for a while but some of what I read put me off a bit as it seemed pretty complicated by I might get a mate to look at it with me if I had the instructions.

Have you enabled just the Sat Nav or the DVD player as well? I'm not interested in running films on the move but audio DVD's are awkward to navigate without the use of the screen.

I had an is250 as well, I attempted the wiring hack and unfortanatly didnt work for me at all. However I bought the Toms overide kit for it, a freeview box and aerials also but never got round to fitting them and cant really be bothered either so I will probabily end up getting rid. However in reference to the update discs whats this all about as I did hear of the newer discs enabled some discs however the lexus dealers always denied this as happening!
