Hi Guys,
Situation is that I've got my 60k service coming up soon and I'm wondering if Lexus will accept my car given that it's got a fair few engine mods. I already had the water pump and belt changed when I bought the car (at 56k) so I don't think it needs a -specialist- service, which makes me lean towards just getting a reputable local garage to do the service.
What do you guys think?

save yourself a packet and go to a good independant, but in answer to your question, yes they will work on it with mods

Thats good to know. Does the 60k service involve anything other than the pump/belt that could be costly (or that an independent may miss)?
Also am I right in saying that its best to ask for fully synthetic oil?

I don't think they care if it's modified, although obviously if you've had an engine swap or made some really major changes you're probably better off with a specialist rather than with a Lexus tech that's only used to working with the standard cars

If you fitted a super charger im sure Ormi would be more than happy to look it for you. If you swapped it with a Supra Engine im sure Ormi would be willing to give it a detailed service and check up hehe

Well not quite that 'modified', but its got new cams + gears, intake, coilovers...etc and will soon have a new manifold and throttle body. So just wanted to make sure I didn't get it allt he way down there for them to turn me away.
