hi all

first time posting here great site,

i have been told by my local audio specialist that there is to be released a wiring loom that interfaces with your standard sat/nav system, thus enabling you to add a tv/tuner dvd etc.

he has informed me that this jump lead will be approximatley £27.50+vat and should be hitting the streets at the back end of july. once i have recieved mine i will let you know if its any good.

thanks very much for this, i have been waiting ages to do this

BUT

is this going to affect my warranty?

Interesting. Very interesting.

At that price I imagine it will be RGB only. Seems like it is just a set of connectors.

Any ideas if they are releasing anything with composite inputs?

What about the PAL/NTSC issue,, will it be an issue. does i dont think the nav sreen supports this standard.

Geoffers what say you..

wot is the difference between all this RGB and composite stuff?

just got a plasma tv, and at first the picture from my cable box was awful, then switched the picture setting from composite to RGB and all was well

Haven't even got as far as Pal/NTSC yet so we aren't sure what standard is used. As they aren't made for other inputs, it could be any, and no reason for them to change it for another country if nothing else is to be connected to it.

The main problems I had when scoping the lines was that the sync appeared to be on all three colours, not seperate. Sometimes there's a sync on green but I've never known it on all three. Also, the sync didn't seem standard.

There was a guy a few weeks ago who said he has it for all Lexus (and it was compatible with other systems too). He didn't take it any further when we asked for info though.

ahhhh RGB syncs...that was the it.... well done geoffers....now BACK TO WORK ;) ;)
