It is in the glove compartment. there is a little door in there, u slide it up, then there is another rectangle cover that u have to pull off. after that, there is a tray type thing with the filter in it, that just slides out.

well dad opened the glove box on his ARISTO not the IS and he said he couldnt find it, dad has watched me remove the glove box in mine and he knows what he is looking for so figits where should he be looking and does anyone have any pictures

Deffo behind the glovebox in mine too
Seems odd that the Aristo is different, being as it's basically the same car

Mat, not sure if this is the filter you are after, but there is a filter in the boot just above the fuel tank, that appears to be my filter for the air con. I put some smelly stuff on it and when I use the air con, I can smell it but when turned off, the scent goes after a few minutes.

94 mk1 gs300..... Not behind glove box... cant see a filter.. only what looks like a sqr relay box with writting on.. so where is it?
