Went to the car wash this morning in Bedminster, Bristol, and the car being prepped in front of me was what I think was an LE on an '03 plate. If that was yours, then very nice car bud!

I took a not-too-small amount of nerdy satisfaction from seeing the two of them queued up together

Sounds like the special edition model (Amarillo I think or something like that) - IS200 Sport in yellow with styling kit

Was it actually called the IS200 Amarillo or was that just the same of the colour? Either way there were only 50 of them made I believe, roughly one per dealer.

So a limited edition in all but name then...

It had the styling kit and Aero alloys so i guess it was the special edition. If there's only 50 about that's not a bad spot I reckon!
