for info on fitting an altezza engine
into my is200.

I assume you're talking about the 3SGE out of the RS200? Altezza's also came with the 1GFE & 2JZGE in the Gita

waste of time sell the 200 and buy a altezza..

What Ormi said. The amount of money you'll spend won't be worth it at all, when you could just sell the IS and buy am Altezza, and it'll all be perfect and work out cheaper.

yes was thinging and it would just be easyer to buy an
altezza! but now im thinking of the turbo route??
there is not a lot of kits around !! is there much work involved in
fitting an is300 turbo kit to my 200??

stop it stop it now!!! that kit wont fit at all the engines totally diff....why dont you just buy the turbo kit for the is200......ebay is your friend

Also the turbo is designed for a 3l engine so itll be hugely laggy

Even going the turbo route you'd still probably end up cheaper just buying an Altezza, not having a dig at you or anything but people really don't seem to realise the amount of work involved in these things, you don't just buy a turbo kit and bolt it all on and hey presto. Nothing is that simple, I guarantee you'll spend well over 5k before you get of running right with a turbo, and even then it won't be nearly as fast as a Scooby or Evo which for your 5k and the sale of your Lex you could buy a pretty decent one of those. Imho of you want to go fast either buy a fast car to start with or get your arms extended cause you're gonna have to reach deeep into your pockets.

i went that route with a kit from the is300. must say that you can make it wotk but your better off just getting all the bits. most of it will need some sort of work. turbo will need work to change the housing size as it wont spool up till 5000rmp. so buy the right stuff first time and save money and time. as everybody say's go sell your car and buy one thats more to your needs. even look at importing a rs200 from japan
