Is it out of warranty?
Scorpion
Gone or just needs re-charging?have a look in the sight glass if theres
bubbles it will just need charging up or is it leaking somewhere.
carlosbow
yes they say the compression has gone and its leeking as its been filled once before 4 months ago and they want 850.00 :tsktsk: :tsktsk:

can i get a second hand one from some where ?
Scorpion
Depends where its leaking but i know they can be fixed
rather than shell out £850.

Thanks lads listen i think i will try find apart on the internet but i dont have high hopes that i will get one but who knows i might be wrong.

But if anyone knows were to go in the liverpool area please contact me.

The car is ony 2 years old v reg and i mean listen its a Lexus and i would of never thought a 2 year old cars air condition would not work

Thanks again guys

A 2 year old "V" reg, that doesn't sound right. If it's only 2 years old then it's still under warranty - but a "V" reg would be about 4 years old.
carlosbow
yes am sure it says on the log book date of manufacture is 14/02/2000 and its just out of warranty and is definatly a v reg.

I have asked Lexus in liverpool but the say sorry out of warranty, so the best thing i can do is try this (find a apart )
and see if this brings me any luck.

Thanks
