Has anybody had Lexus side skirts fitted recently, what colour is the seal between the skirt and body, I have a black car with a grey seal is this right and how well do they fit the body and the lower front section of the rear wheel arch.

The seal is always grey and only looks okay on silver cars

If I had known that then I would never had bought them,  another black mark to LEXUS. The salesman should have informed that they only come with a grey seal, seems pretty poor to me and penny pinching.

Do you know how well they fit at lower section at the front of the rear wheel arch.

There are slight gaps on mine, at the base of the wheel arches. Also at those points, the GREY seal is kinked-up....
I must admit, I wasn't impressed with the grey seal. I guess yours were painted off the car, then fitted afterwards like mine.
I have noticed some of our guys (MAZ for one), must have had theirs painted on the car, coz the seal has been painted the same colour... Not sure if the paint will flake off though in time, it doesn't tend to adhere to rubber very well....

Sounds like mine are the same as yours, that said now that I've cleaned the car properly, it does look to bad. I'll wait and see what the feed back is like from the people I work with as we are all prefectionists and very critical of all car manufactures on how they put there cars together and the materials that are used.

For painting the seal, that's a no no as the paint will flake off over time and that will look much worse.
