Hi Guys...

Saturday i went to see an IS200 used. It was beauitiful, dark, the car was selled in 1999 it has 88.000 Km but it's very good... if you see it you say that it's NEW!!!
The stange thing is that instead of the beautiful seats in skin and alcantara there are seats in velvet!!! the seats regulation is also manual and not electric.

I've never seen lexus is200 with this kind of seats (apart from the new version "silver)!!!!



Guys, the car is BEAUTIFUL!!! and it also have a TOP CLASS waranty of 2 years!!!

I don't know what i have to do.... buy it or not????




the car costs 14.500 €

[i]In the UK that would be classed as the "S" model- (S) being the entry level model with fabric seats, 16" alloys and no sunroof.

Not sure wether its the same in Italy[/i]

Here in Ireland a lot of the Sport versions have cloth seats with manual adjustment.
Check if it has the alloy pedals and sills, and if it has an LSD. If not it is known in Ireland as
IS200 Chenille. i.e. entry level model. Don't let this put you off your purchase ....still an excellent car,
and the differences are mainly cosmetic.

Normal, as I remembered (sometimes) in 99 there was a normal IS200 without half leather electrical seats (anyway only the driver was in the superior package), I think Italy sold the same than in France, I saw one IS in Milano exactly as you mention but in blue :

99/2000 models
IS200 normal without leather, without GPS (cd-rom), with 17' rims
IS200 pack with half leather/alcantara seats and electrical driver's one, with GPS sat nav, with 17' rims

I know that in Italy before the 03 model there was only two version of IS200.

The first was named simply "IS200" (half leather seats withouf navy)

The second was named "IS 200 plus" with all leather seats and navy....

the LSD was an optional....

it's the first time i saw the IS200 with cloth seats with manual regulation!!!

WOW if it has the lsd i'll buy it NOW!!!!
