Looks nice mate.
Definately the wrong tyres on those wheels though (as per your previous post), would look much better with the right size

i'm gonna get the tyres changed when i refurb the wheels. one wheel has a slight dent in the rim so they defo need doing.

So how long have you owned it. Only asking as it appears that you only recently acquired it but photos dated jan 2007?
I had one for 6 yrs and still think the shape is really great....better visually than the GS430. Be nice to put the V8 4.3 into a Series 1 300 Sport.

I'm kinda split on the looks. When side by side, I think my Mk2 Sport had the edge on a full frontal. From the back end, the mk1 wins by a mile. a cut and shut between the two would create a fantastic looking car.

Mk 1 from side view too. Certainly turned a few heads in France, Belgium, Holland when I had it. The wheels certainly stood out.

Yup, for sure. I've put the mk1 wheels on my Mk2 and they look great on that too. The fat back wheels look ace and are a must.
Sorry for derailing your topic Ashman

i've owned it for about 5 days now, i just haven't bothered changing the date on the camera
i will keep an eye out for the wider rear wheels.
i did look at 2 mk2's but this one sttod out because of the colour but also because of the overall condition and the service history. i think they look brilliant in white. i haven't decided wether i like the gold coloured bottom half, i may get it repainted in the white instead.
