There are loads of bodykits available for the IS200...

Look Here and doing a search should bring up quite a lot of threads with more links and opinions. (like this search )

Hi Clem - and welcome to the club.

Could I firstly suggest you do a search on the site using our fantastic search facility. If you put in the word "bodykit", I can assure you it will return pages of previous threads talking about the wide range of bodykits available and everything you'd possibly wish to know about them.

On a final note, while you are enjoying the wonderful bodykits available to you, consider joining our GOLD membership to make some wonderful savings on your future purchases, servicing and plenty more.

WELL Funny you should mention it,, Sort off

I have recently received a US spec kit, and whilst they fit across the width of the car perfectly, they are however approx 1 inch deeper (the bit towards the wheels) so i am going to have to cut out an inch and rejoin using some sort of Epoxy glue.
The reason for this is all to do with US safety specs..

yea, its because we have a stupid law about having a 5mph bumper in all US cars. Meaning the bumper must withstand a 5mph crash with out any body damage, so they put a bit larger crash bar in our cars.

But, all full bumper replacement body kits will fit your car whether if its for the 300 or 200.

Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie too and looking to get an IS200 in the next few months. I really fancy putting a bodykit on it because they make it look so damn funky. I've been doing tons of research on this subject and stumbled accross this company in Nottingham who do the whole kit for £360 which seems pretty reasonable to me. I presume you'd have to spray it and fit it yourself but for that price it can't be a bad shout.

Can't wait to get my grubby little hands on an IS and then start fiddling with it!

Cheers

Remeber that 360 doesn't include VAT (17.5%)..

And it will need painting and fitting..

It depends what your looking for, that kit is the Altezza kit, there is a similar one from TTE which you can get from your dealer, and if you joined GOLD you could get a discount on the parts..

A few members have used UpAuto. Their service & prices seems to be good.
